Fully Integrated Modules
These modules add to the versatility of the Texture Analysers by providing the facility to capture temperature and humidity data during a test. When Exponent software is used the temperature is sampled every ten seconds and recorded with the texture analysis data. All modules connect to the Texture Analyser via the RS485 port. Four modules can be connected at one time to log data simultaneously from up to four locations.

Fully Integrated Temperature Module
This platinum resistance hand probe (PT100) is designed to BS1904:1984 Class A. The platinum element is protected in a 2.5mm diameter stainless steel sheath.
The module measures and plots product temperature over the range -50°C to +250°C. It has a fast response time and a sensor accuracy of ±0.35°C over the standard working temperature range. It can be easily cleaned and sterilised without degrading performance.
This RS485 device will be useful if the two PT100 temperature inputs are already being used.
